Although the students wrote in their agendas that Orange Shirt Day is on the 29th, it has actually been changed to Tuesday, September 27th. We have discussed the story that inspired Orange Shirt Day, which is about a little girl at a residential school being told she can not wear her favourite orange shirt. We have also discussed how Orange Shirt Day is about supporting the idea that all children everywhere should be allowed to have a good education that is respectful of them and their culture.
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays - P.E. in the gym
Thursdays - Library Book Exchange Fridays - are Fun Fridays when we do extra fun activities for all the subjects, we also have Music on Fridays Should be set by Thursday afternoon. Your child will bring home a ink slip of paper on Thursday afternoon. This will have the name of their new teacher as well as the room number of their new classroom.
